Creating Vista install disk
Is it possible to create a vista bootable disk from the recovery disk . Have a hp dv9000 It came preinstalled and the recovery disk created reinstalls all the stuff on it that it was purchased with and I just want a simple clean Vista install without all the unwanted trial progams and games.

One way would be to get everything exactly as you want it, then using a program like Acronis True Image, create an image to another hard drive.

Basically no to what you are asking...the restore disk can only install all of what it contains, if I understand your question right.
You could buy a separate copy of Windows, but then you won't have the programs from the restore disk either.
You could uninstall all of what you don't want in Add/Remove programs and then make an image file with Acronis as Bob suggests.
