Unhappy How can I uninstall Windows Vista?
I just got a new Toshiba Satellite A135 2276 laptop. It automatically came with Windows Vista. This makes it SUPER slow. I own Windows XP and would like to be able to uninstall Windows Vista and install my Windows XP. However, it's NOT letting it happen. There must be a way to do this...any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

What message or action are you getting when you try to reformat or remove Vista?

If your using an XP upgrade disk then no its not going to allow you too, you cant even upgrade from media center to pro i dont think, or maybe the other way around i dont remember. Youd have to format the drive first. If its a full version of xp then youd have to do a full install and reformat the drive within setup.
