I think upgrading from XP is a red herring. My machine was a complete new build, Jan 08, I've been trying to track down a solution since then and so far have drawn a blank. I noticed the problem within a few days of initial build (with all latest updates). I have read an item for XP suggesting it could be a mismatch between the BIOS and windows clock interupt rate, but that was for XP and seemed a rare event, the issue with Vista seems more common, I haven't tried the XP fix yet - if I do and it works I'll post, if I can track it down again...

Of course everyone having problems with AMD processors is already running the core optimizer that has been out since August of 2007, right?

I haven't had problems with Vista and I am running the program.

Well that had absolutely no effect what so ever. Left the machine in Sleep state over the weekend, noon Friday to 6pm Sunday, fired the box back up and it thought it was 11am on the Sunday. This is a real pain in the backside. How can something as simple as keeping a clock ticking be so bleedin difficult - never had a problem like this with XP and when the box is a media center it's damned frustrating. Does anything in Vista work properly... rant rant rant!
