new vista user
Just helping friend to setup new computer which has windows vista. He has nortan pre installed, do i want to get rid??? If i do where do i go to do it properly? Also he using internet ex, does mozzila work better with vista?

Uninstall it from Add/Remove programs.

If you set it up it will likely double the bootup time and be a general resource hog.

You can install a freebee like AVG which is adequate for most people. Windows Defender also comes with the system, you can leave that alone.

I haven't installed Mozilla on Vista -- but I have installed Opera, my browser of choice -- and it works great -- just the same as on XP.

I don't imagine there should be any problem with Mozilla.

does mozzila work better with vista?


I don't know if it works better than others, but the newest version works very well with Vista.
