need massive help!!!
hi,
i just got windows vista and it was cool and all but then i learned about a windows lockout feature in group policy editor. i had the account lockout after 4 attempts to log in failed. i tested it out by logging off, typing in 4 random passwords (all wrong), then the fifth try when i typed in my real password it said "The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to". So i thought to myself, "wow now i'm safe from people that will try to log in to my account". but then i kept on trying to log in with my real password and it kept saying that message. i booted into safe mode, tried there, i tried going on the administrator account but that was already disabled from the control panel, so was the guest account. i have no clue how to get in. i also do NOT have a recovery disk. all i want to do is log back in with my real password without it stopping me. is it time relief? if so how long and should i keep at log on screen or can i shut it down. please help!!!

Most new PCs have the recovery built in to the HDD on a hidden partition, the ways to access it vary - try F10, F11 at boot - Alt+F10 if it's an Acer
