Exclamation How do I go back to XP from Vista
I have read all of the posts on this subject but they really do not help me. I have a dell computer that had Windows Xp Media Center on it. As part of my deal I got the free upgrade to Vista. Instead of doing research on Vista first though I just popped in the upgrade cd and I absolutely hate it. I want to go back to XP but when I insert my dell xp cd the install option is grayed out. I've tried going to my control panel to see if the upgrade is listed there and windows xp nor vista are listed there. I have tried to format the computer which I used to do occasionally on an older computer but cannot seem to get it to boot in command mode so I can type in the c:/ format, if I remember the command correctly. I have tried inserting the upgrade cd to check for any uninstallation options and there are none. Please help me!!!! Thank you
