Exclamation Error 80048820 and related problems
Various internet related programs have stopped working, including windows update, my virus scanner's auto-update, time synchronisation and live messenger. Messenger gives me error 80048820, but when i try and fix the problem by reregistering the SSL libraries some of them give me an error saying they fail to load. This happens for initpki.dll, Gpkcsp.dll, Slbcsp.dll and Sccbase.dll. I think that i am missing these files. Im not sure where to get them from or where to put them. Help would be most appreciated.

You can find dll files at this site: http://www.dlldump.com/

Have you tried a system restore?

Do you have the latest Messenger, and did your run it as admin?
