I have done some searching too and it appears to be BIOS problem from what I have read.
Apparently a BIOS update is needed, but I have to warn you that updating the BIOS can be dangerous.

Go to the manufacturers site and find out if there is an update available for your machine and also how to do it safely.
It must not be interrupted or interfered with in any way so turn off everything running in the background and disconnect all peripherals.

It might be a bios update issue but there are some other things to try first...it could be usb external drive plugged in stopping you or other external usb device. It can also be dvd player with problem or even hard drive with a problem also. Remember when doing Os install, all drives used must be perfect and it's not that a dvd drive can't play a dvd but then still cannot do an install because it has issues.
