Respectfully asking for details on how to connect to Wi-Fi access

Hi there!

I donot want to appear as a novice but in truth I am a first-time owner of a laptop with Windows Vista Premium. My question is, I expect to be going on a camping trip soon to a campground with Wi-Fi access available and I feel unsure if I understand how to operate my laptop to receive Wi-FI. How do I do it? I know I seem like a dummy for asking but I feel it is necessary to ask you wonderful "tech guys" for assistance.

I greatly value your patience and committment to help all of us, who are novices understand the Vista programs.

God bless you and I hope you have a good time today!

Hi Shalom2u,
If the Wi-Fi hotspot is not locked...your laptop should pick it up and log in with out a problem.....if the hotspot is locked...you will have to get the sign-in code or key from the camp ground and sign in by going to:

Click "Vista start"....click on "connect to"...click on the hotspot name and put in the codes when the screen asks for them....

Have a good one.
