Firefox can't find website
I'm new to Vista. I use Firefox as my browser. With some frequency when trying to connect to a website, a window opens to say the site cannot be found, and then a second later the site sought comes up.

What's going on here? Is there a firefox setting that needs changing?

Is it only that specific site?

Do you have any pop-up blocker or ad-blocker on?

Actually it applies to many sites. When I remove the pop-up blocker, the problem still exists.

Have you enabled any ad blocking on the sites giving the message?

Try selecting Tools > Ad-blocking > Whitelist the site and see if that makes a difference.

Also make sure you are not connecting through a proxy server.
