Exclamation Windows Vista Wireless Networking
Hey, not sure if this is right place for my post buy anyways.
I brought a new desktop and notebook the other day, the desktop is really good and notebook average. I didn't have to create a new network as i still used my old router and modem. So i plugged in my desktop for first time and the internet was working fine, i also checked to see if they wireless was working on my other notebook. Which it was.

With my new Vista Notebook, i started it up and wen looking under network connects, it can see the network and i click connect, it says "connecting to D-Link, please wait..." or something along those lines. Then after about 5-10 seconds it says
"windows cannot connect to my network"
when i click diagnose the problem it says
"wireless associaton failed because windows did not recieve any response from wireless router or access point"

I dont know what to do really, i tried turning off windows firewall... to no luck.

Please help

Thanks

Have you set the properties for the connection? (SSID, encryption type, encryption key etc)
