Question Vista and Spyware
This question might not belong here but I have Vista with IE7 and have just started using it this week. I work for a company from home that I sign on to their site with a password and ID- they use Seibel software. Had a problem with it last week when I first got the computer but was solved by downloading Java. They had just not long before that became
compatiable with Vista and IE7.(They had problems in the past but are still not that knowledgeable with either).

Have a new problem which I won't go into how their program works but when I enter something on their system I am getting a about blank page. The information enters but
this about blank page is covering it. I have googled about blank and learned that this can
be spyware. Is that right?
What does not make sense about it is as far as I can tell it is not affecting anything else on my computer. My bellsouth home page is ok. ( I had one years ago do that on a Win 98 just not about blank).
What occurred before the other problem(before I knew I needed to download Java) I in trying to figure out what it was changed my security setting (all to enable) and for a couple
of days turned off my windows firewall, defender and the pop up blocker(though that was only briefly). I have since downloaded adaware (which I had on my old computer) and ran it and all that came up was some low 3 and it did not change it.
What is odd is that it is only on this site and after I enter something on it.
Is this spyware?

One other thing that I need to add here that did and might shouldn't of is under trusted cookies, I added their site to it( I never did this on my 98 computer because I don't think their was
a place. I have since removed everything from trusted cookies. But windows defender was running when I did that.

Ok have learned that it is spyware. Had forgot that I downloaded real player as it came up when I tried to use their online v/mail. Don't know if it came from that or not. Still odd that it is only doing it on that site with that software.
