WindowsVista and SLI
I have a home built machine with an AMD 4200 x2 in a Gigabyte K8N SLI mobo with two
WinFast PX 6600GT video cards. System Memory is 2GygaBytes. Installion worked just OK with WindowsXP and SLI was enabled and working. I did a clean install to "upgrade"? to Windows Vista Home Deluxe Edition. I installed the latest Mobo drivers (nforce 680i_sli_winvista32....) and the latest video driver nvidia 158.18. The system recognizes tow video cards but in the device manager shows an error sign on the second video card. Sli is not shown as an option in the nividia control panel. I've done several installations and removal with no real success. I suspect a Problem with DirectX10 but I'm not really sure. I'm about ready to go back to XP. It worked pretty good on it. Any help would be appreciated.
