Windows Mail folders appearing on desktop?
I recently obtained a new PC with MS Vista Home Premium installed , together with the new Windows Mail program.

I followed the import instructions to move my old Outlook Express messages into this new program, however it didn't work initially. I tried so many things i forget, which action may have been the culprit, but although i eventually succeeded in importing the emails i now find i have all the Windows Mail folders on my desktop?

These files update each time the program is opened and closed and although i have moved them back to their home (or at least i think it is -C:\users\%your computer name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\ folder?) they keep returning. I wish to find a permanent way of removing them from the desktop and back into their rightful home, but i am unclear how to do this?

I would appreciate any help out there?

Finally cracked it myself, the mail store folder, in Windows Mail, options, advanced, maintenance had changed to the desktop. Restored location to C:\Users\%computer name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail
