Could someone give me a simplified explanation of why I need a administrative account.
From what I have read (through tons of info) it contradicts itself. It says best to use a standard user account but when I tried to change mine from administrator it says I must assign another user as administrator for this computer before changing. Is this for real?
Is their anyway to delete this feature?
Maybe I need to edit this- What if any is any advantage to this feature and do I have to set up a standard user for another house hold member and if I don't will they still be able to
use the computer for such things as email and downloads?

Using a non-administrator level account is an extra security measure to prevent malware and other attacks. Generally, I think doing this causes users more problems than it prevents. I recommend leaving your account as is and run anti-virus and firewall apps and, of course, practice safe, responsible computing.
