reformatting vista
I have been trying all night to reformat my computer. I want to ditch vista and put on windows xp home edition. I had to go to the bios to change my computer so it would read the disc first. I get as far as checking the configurations on the computer then a blue screen comes up and I can;t delete the vista . Is there another way that I can do this
thanks

I would give serious thought to reformatting the hard drive and doing a clean install of XP Pro providing you have the original CD!

i started trying to reformat the computer. I had to go into the bios to get the computer to recognize the disc in the cd rom. It does the system scan on the computer then I get the blue screen and it won't let me delete the partition. I have reformat computers before but just with xp on it. I even tried to put it the vista disc to see if I can get through the next stage but it wouldn;t work
