Solved: Blanking last logged-in User
In XP, IIRC, it was done via Run/secpol.msc; however, in Vista Home Premium that does not seem to exist. Is it possible to have the last logged in username blanked in VHP, or would I need "Ultimate"?

Thank you for the reply.

That appears to be for applications rather than the Windows logon itself; the list is empty for me.

I've been doing some research into the various flavors of Vista and is appears that this capability may not exist except in the enterprise versions such as Business and Ultimate. Pity.

I found it!

Under Vista Home Premium change the zero to a one (0 to 1) for dontdisplaylastusername:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\
