Unhappy Solved: Windows Error Recovery after Suspend
I perform a clean install of Vista Ultimate without no problems, except for this:

After suspend my laptop (default option), always boot to Windows Error Recovery screen and say that windows didn't shut down successfully. I choose Normal Startup and everything it's normal.

I update my nvidia drivers to 160.03 (from www.laptopvideo2go.com) and didn't fix it.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Nvidia Vista drivers are real buggy. My advice would be to uninstall anything you have (except chipset and video) drivers and see if that doesn't solve it.

I used msconfig (thanks linney for tip) to make clean boots, and found that disabling the Plug and Play service fix it.
I tried to enable Plug and Play service and disable one by one his dependencies, but didnt work.
I could not fix it, I'll change to hibernate.

Control Panel / Power Options / select Change Plan Settings / select Change Advanced Power Settings / Sleep / Allow Hibrid Sleep / On

Change this in every plan (Balanced, High Performance, Power Safer)

Have tried your solution Ribett, thanks, fingers crossed.

My notebook goes to sleep and wakes up happily for a while - around 3 days to one week and then needs a hard reboot. This suggests that something is getting clagged up. Probably setting it to hibernate rather than sleep would work, but it would be good to find a work around for the sleep problem. Will let you know whether the hybrid sleep solution works in a week or two.
