Do you have the space between "ipconfig" and "/"

Re-typed it in using the space, and it flashed a screen this time, I so I presume it did what
it was supposed to do, but unfortunately my internet is still the same. I am at my wits end here, thinking of uninstalling Vista, and go back to using XP, but this still doesn't give me an answer.
Lot of mucking around taking Vista off my computer, have to shift about 200gb worth of stuff on to an external hard drive. And because the 320gb one that I have is full, I have to go out and purchase another one.
Thanks for the suggestions

Moved it to the Network forum, this morning, and haven't even got a response. Things aren't looking good.

Actually, that won't work, you need a space after the IPCONFIG. Funny things, these computers, they require exact input.

Start, Run, CMD <enter>

IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

Seems like we are back where we were with this a day ago.

I have done everything suggested by everyone that has posted replies, I re-did
IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS, and I have done it correctly, I have copy and pasted it, not typed it in myself, and I have done it numerous times (with all of the corrections that have been posted)
still didn't fix the problem. I am running Spyware Doctor, and Nod 32, is there another spyware/malware program that is better than this,. Also run Nod32.

One more thought for software. Download and run this.
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html
Try running another browser:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ let's see if Firefox is any different.
Failing that we need to look at hardware...I would remove new ram next and then try a pci ethernet card afterwards.
