Arrow Back Up and System Restore
Ok, I am not familiar with how to back up files or the system restore procedures
because I have gone from a 98 to Vista (using xp briefly).
But what I did was try to back up my files and wasn't sure I was doing it right.
But I got a pop up saying that low disk space on recovery D and on back up config
it says last back up was not complete due to low space on D. This was the other
day that I tried it and now about every 10 min I get this annoying pop up in my taskbar
that says last back up failed.
Kind of confused on how this works since I did not have a D on 98 only C.
Also read somewhere that the s restore takes up a lot of ram but do not want to
un do it but what is the best way to manually back up the files as I don't want to
completely delete all past back up's since I do not have a system restore disk.
But would like not use as much space as possible. Is the back up what is used
if a system restore is done?
Also I purchased this computer with Vista about a month ago and their was not
a restore disk with it- was I supposed to get that or does it not come with Vista?

You do not get it one. I have a Sony laptop. My computer has help files on the start menu, it tells you how to make a backup their.
