Angry Vista Administrator Account Network Access
I have three networked pc's. Two run XP and One is Vista. They are networked as MSHOME.

On my Laptop (Vista) I have two user accounts - Administartor and Public. I used to have a third user account "Owner" but deleted it.

I gave laptop's administrator account full sharing privileges for c drive. I can see the c drive icon from the other two pc's network panel but cannot access it - access denied. I can get to the Public user account and used to be ble to get to the old owner account but not into the c drive.

What else do I need to do to grant access to the vista laptop c drive from either of the two other pc's over my LAN?

Thanks

Check 'file and printer sharing' in Windows firewall and make sure it's ticked,

Windows Firewall
Steve

Thanks for reply but Windows Firewall is shutoff. If the firewall were the issue, I would not be able to connect with "Public" user on laptop. When logged on in Administrator User account, I can acccess the "Public" user folder over the LAN but not the c drive.
