vista IE problems accessing websites
I have a new Toshiba laptop that has pre-installed Vista on it. Most everything works OK and I am able to browse the internet with the included IE without many problems. HOWEVER, when I try to access sites from which I would like to download or listen to audio files, I get a message from IE that the site is not found or unavailable, etc.

I only have this problem on Vista. We have other computers that run XP and we do not have this problem. I have a colleague at work who also just bought a Toshiba laptop with Vista and he has the same problem. All other computers running XP in our office do not have this problem.

I have tried to lower all the Internet security settings that I can to see if they were set too high, but to no avail.

To summarize, I can actually go to a particular site that offers audio for download or to listen to, but when I click on the button that should open the audio content, I get a message from IE that the URL can not be located, whereas, while on XP I do not have this problem at all.
