Unhappy Solved: Error message
I have windows vista and bought a virusscan to install on my computer. I tried to install and it says that I have a program that is not compatible with it. The program that is not compatible is a old virusscan program that I downloaded months ago. I tried to uninstall the old program but I am getting an error message saying "The specified module could not be found". If anyone can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Can you please give the actual name of the virus scanning program?

Many of the makers sites have removal tools, they are often hard to completely eradicate otherwise.

Or, by "old virusscan program", do you really mean McAfee VirusScan, but I doubt you could have recently downloaded an "old version".

More clarity on the exact program is required.

The old virusscan program is Norton 360 I downloaded it as a free trial and it expired months ago now I cannot uninstall it from my computer. The new program I purchased is McAfee VirusScan Plus 2007.
