Insomniac Vista
Hi

I use Vista Ultimate and have had problems with it entering sleep mode
since installation - the machine bursts into life about 2 seconds
after entering sleep.

I have used the event viewer to narrow down the cause to i8042prt
events 19 and 20 (keyboard typematic delay and light settings failure
to respond) and this in turn has led me to the real culprit - my
Belkin KVM unit which is preventing the responses.

Having removed the KVM (which I need) , my machine sleeeps like a
babe !!!!

Can any of the tech gurus out there suggest a way to "de-sensitise"
Vista to these events so they don't cause a wake up as I really need
the KVM ? I am quite happy to edit the Registry but would appreciate
howing which keys to modify.

Many thanks
