Search won't find anything.
Search is set to index the whole of the users folder, but it won't find anything! I've already rebuilt the index once, but still nothing.

For example, I have several files called Dogs - (Track Title).wma in my Music folder, all of which are tagged properly. If I search for Dogs, all I get is an email from Windows Mail.

Does anyone know how to get search working?

Also, sort of related - is there anyway to browse by tags in Explorer?

I think its the way Vista does the fields, make sure you put 'Dogs' in the correct field. One field searches file contents and another searches file names!!

I'm having a similar problem. For example I search for "Beatles" in my music folder and it says no items found. But there are hundreds of Beatles files in there. When I search under the start menu, it will bring up Beatles in my videos folder, but nowhere else. According to the index settings, all of my user folders are indexed. But that is clearly not working.

Please help!

Edit: Oh, and it also says 281 things indexed, even though there are a lot more files than that in my user folders. But it says indexing complete. ??
