Solved: Removal Disk Drive "F"
Hi All
Hope you can help me. I have a Dell E-520 with Win VISTA Home Premium. I also have an EPSON CX5800F printer/scanner/fax.I only use it as a printer/scanner & not as a fax. Everything works fine but when the printer is turned on it appears in windows explorer as "removal disk F". It also is present in device manager under Disk Drivers as "Epson usb mass storage usb device". If I turn the printer off even though it is still connected it dissappears from both explorer and device manager. I knw this is a wierd problem but hope someone out there might have a solution.

You more than likely have a multi-card reader integrated into the Printer. This card reader will be active while your printer is on, and disappear when your printer is off.

It is used to read memory cards from various types of Digital cameras, etc.

You are absolutely right Randyg. The CX5800F is a printer, scanner,& fax. It also has a card reader. You have solved my problem. Thanks much.
