What Microphones work well with Vista
I just got a new computer with vista...got a Logitech mike where it plugs in to the USB port..it works but I can't talk to my friends...they don't hear me but i hear them...people tell me it is in the settings???? or could it be in the mike....the mike is working since I can hear my voice on the tape recordings I make on the computer

You probably need to either update the driver or downgrade to XP driver of soundcard.

Rich..thankx for getting back...if I downgrade to the xp version of the soundcard...will it throw other things off???? I get good sound now and the mike works...I just can't talk to people....I originaly had xp on my computer too...but they put Vista on it....

Have you run throught the mic setup program for whichever program you are trying to use?

No it won't throw anything off...the XP drivers are more complete is all and seem to perform better on Vista than Vista soundcard drivers.

Yes, in the tools menu, there is an option for audio and video setup....have you run through that to see if it works there?
