hmmm... Im at a loss.

What kind of system is this? Did you buy a new one and it came pre-installed with vista, or did you upgrade or run a full install of vista?

Does the CD run ok on another system?

I use NIS 2007, but I installed it as an upgrade from 2006, so it was a download from the website, and it installed fine and runs fine.

Do you have to use it?

Popular Virus and Firewall for vista is AVG (anti-virus) & Comodo (firewall), both free.

if u have issues with nis2007..pls let me know i would love to help u resolve this issue
however i want to know exactly what prevents u from downloading it
any error messages or any thing at all ..any clue at all that u notice on screen and i will make sure ur issue is resolved in minutes..
u have also not mentioned wth is ur product ..is it norton internet security or antivirus
