Your Vista PC Connection Speed
I found this little program useful in “optimizing” my connection speed for my PC. You must set your PC and this program does it. It works with ANY version of windows. I used it for my XP and I’m now using it for Vista. You might as well get the connection speed you are paying for as far as “high speed internet service” goes. Here is the link for the TCP Optimizer:

BEFORE you run the TCP Optimizer program try this speed test FIRST. Then run it AFTER you run the Optimizer (SpeakEasy Flash will not load with Vista 64 bit so use your 32 bit I.E.) SpeakEasy Speed Test:

My Last Result:
Download Speed: 14064 kbps (1758 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1098 kbps (137.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

That was interesting. I must have a very honest and good ISP. The program actually slowed down my upload and download speeds. I must say that I have played with some of the settings over the past few months.
