Vantec eSATA and Vista -- No go.
Ok so I went out and purchased a wonderful onyx black Vantec NexStar 3 external Hard Disk case for my 320GB Western Digital SATA Hard disk, plugged the eSATA connector in booted into Vista and turned on the Hard Disk -- nothing. What the *hey*

So after replacing the eSATA connector and scratching my head lots, I gave up and connected the Vantec through USB2 -- guess what ...

It worked perfectly!

But how is it that a new technology such as eSATA coupled with a brand new Intel DP35DPM board and Windows Vista = no eSATA joy?

There's something for SP1 Redmond boys.
