Going to upgrade
i am going to be doing a fresh install of vista, when my copy comes, and would like to know if my pc will be going as slow as hell

My specs are:
3.20ghz processor
1.3gig of ram
Ati Radeon Xpress 200 Video Card
80 gig hd

Looking at your system, it seems like you'll be alright; however, I have 2 gB of memory on mine and a dual core processor.

ok, i tried that, and it said i was ok except for getting the suitable drivers, does anyone know if my graphics card can support aero effects?

That is on board pci-express and not the best idea but it should certainly support aero.

I think i'll be ok, according to you guys, and the upgrade advisor, but i been reading some forums, they say that 1 gig is not enough if your run heavy programs, is Windows Live Messenger, Firefox, and Visual basic 6, What they call "Heavy Program".

Firefox and Windows messenger are not heavy programs, I'm not too sure about Visual Basic but I would assume that it isn't too bad.

Someone told me visual basic 6, has compatiablity issues with vista, is this true?
