Vista not recognizing hard drive
I've got the same problem as the above user. Except mine is a WD 500 internal hard drive. Can't seem to find any Vista compatible downloads from Western Digital. I've also got a Blackbird, and its got trays for the hard drives, so no wires, so it could be that it isn't connected properly. That's my problem, any answers? Thanks!!

My problem was that the hard drive wasn't connected correctly. With the Blackbird, it seems you get this little whirling sound when it connects. But I was still expecting to see the new hard drive under "My Computer", so thank you for the info about going to disk manager. Everything is fine now.
