Vista Wireless Internet Problem
First off, I am NOT very knowlegable about my computer's specifications, but I do know how to operate it fairly well. I just moved in about 3 weeks ago and my roommate has a wireless internet set up.

It was working just fine for me without much trouble at all - until yesterday. I woke up and tried to connect and it simply told me that "Windows cannot connect to ______ network" (the network is named after my roommate, and i left his name out). I have not been able to log back in for a full day. I can connect to other unsecure networks around me, but for some reason I can't connect to his network anymore. Yes, it's a secure network, but I have the password and like I said - for the past 3 weeks I have had no trouble using it.

There haven't been any changes or anything, but for some reason it was working 2 days ago, then POOF! it stops working.

Does ANYONE have the slightest idea what's going on?

Oh, one more thing - when I ask Vista to diagnose the problem, it never can tell me what the problem is - only that there IS problem (what a helpful feature!).

Did you check with room mate, was there any changes made to the wireless access data, ie., new password and etc?

He can't connect either. I'm beginning to think this might be an encryption thing or whatever.
