Winlogon.exe issues in windows vista
I have windows vista home basic running on my laptop, and have NOD32 as my AV. Recently, it showed a message - "winlogon.exe has been infected- probably by a NewHeur virus. and shows the location as c:\windows\winlogon.exe... It also asks me if I can quarantine or delete it.. i checked up C:\Windows\system32 and there's a winlogon.exe located there too (with the picture of a moon) . My query is- is it safe to delete or quarantine the winlogon.exe in the C:\Windows folder?... or please tell me of any other way of getting rid of the virus?

pls reply to xenixmacos@yahoo.com
