Resolving your problem Hi I had the same problem and after some time of research I managed to get it resolved. First of all I am assuming that your contacts are stored in Windows contacts. Well first you need to go to Windows mail and from the tools menu select Windows contacts. When the windows contacts window opens make sure its maximized. Then from the views icon select details. Then right-click on the field named Name and check/tick the First Name and Last Name fields. This will open up 2 new columns named First Name and Last Name in which your contacts' First and Last Names are displayed. Thereafter right-click somewhere in your window where there is white space and from the menu which appears select sort by and then select last name.
Hope this helps
