Solved: Basic Question
This might seem like a duh type question to you all,and maybe I should already know this, but,I'm wondering,,,how do you check for possible duplication of files on the hard-disc? With your answers I will probably slap myself and say,,,Oh yeah,of coarse...but at the moment this escapes my discerning intellect lol...and also Im "old",so
remember, please use the "KISS" theorem. Thank You
I have Vista Home Premium OS.

There is no REAL way of checking for duplicate files.

For one they could all have different file names and/or in different folders and the contents be the same.

There are a few programs out, but, I have NOT seen any that worked with Vista yet.
