ok-will try system restore as a last resort-as last restore point was couple months ago--i am sure that derll themselfs have changed a setting by mictake as everthing was worcking properly until i had a remote link set up with them--its so annoying trying to find out why i can not send to f\--rw\drive. it plays fils and reads files correctly as it is a brand new driver i installed. thanks for your help triple6--was in toronto last year nice place--cn tower WOW

System Restore should be automatically and constantly making restore points as you use your computer, they can also be undo.

PROBLEM SOLVED____Thanks for all your help Triple 6 --the DEVIL------in the end it was Nero burning Rights -it was set to nobody has burning rights--so i changed it to everybody has burning rights and BINGO f-drive back--strange because i uninstalled nero and it still did not work---ANYWAY THANKS AGAIN AND ITS TIME TO BURN
