Open My Computer ... Press Alt + T .. Folder Options ....

Tick "Show hidden Files And Folder" And "Hide Protected Operating System Files(Recommended)"

Then Navigate to -- %SystemDrive%/Users/"Your Account"/SenDTo >> Then ...

Open Another Instance of "My Computer" And Drag Your F[CD\DVD] Drive to "SendTo Folder"

Hope It Helps ...

Go to Device Manager by right clicking on Computer and choosing Manage. Then see if the CD\DVD drive shows up in hardware list.

thanks found hardware-both drives are listed---when i clicked on the task scheduler this message appears- the task scheduler is corrupt or has been tampered with user_feed_-sycronisation -anyway both drives are listed in hardware. i have tried uninstalling nero mto see if it makes any difference but still the same -go to a file right click and no option to send to f\rw drive.. thanks

Any errors with the drives in Device Manager?

In My Computer the CD\DVD drivers should appear under the "Devices with Removal Storage" heading, if you don't see any then double click on "Devices with Removal Storage". Tell us all the drives that are listed and what drive letter they are. You should have at least a C, D, and an E drive.

Ok, and just to be clear, when you right click on the DVD-RW(F) drive and go to Properties, do you have a Recording tab?

Have you tried a System Restore do a date when it was working OK?

OK, so the Recording tab is indeed completely missing.

What about doing the system restore?
