Limited (Non Admin) users cannot log on!?!
Here is EXACTLY what it says

Windows could not connect to the system event notification service service.
Please consult your system administrator.

Now I checked the system event log, and all of that stuff means nothing to me.

Talked to the system admin, he doesn't know either.

So please help me out!

You shouldn't have duplicated your post, particularly only 6 minutes after posting on the Vista forum!
If your original post doesn't get answered, bump it up after a day or so.

If you don't get a reply it's because nobody can provide the answer, not that they won't.

A search for that error message shows other people having this issue, but offers no cut & dry cause or solution
for it. This MSDN page has a discussion on it ............ http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...08008&SiteID=1
