Random VISTA Crashes
I am experiencing random crashes on my system. Without warning, the screen goes blank while the audio continues. In about two minutes, the system reboots itself. The error message in event log references Event 6008. So far, the crashes have only occured while I'm playing a game. These are generally games with high graphics demands (Company of Heroes, Oblvion, Prey, etc.), but I have played BioShock for several hours without a problem. I don't think it's heat related, because the temperature seems OK (mb 55c, CPU 45c after a crash). Also, I have had the problem about 10 minutes after starting up from cold. The system was purchased three months ago. I have not flashed the BIOS, but all other drivers are up to date. My specs are:

CyberPower PC running Vista 32 bit
AMD dual core 6000+
Asus SLI mb
nVidia 8800GTX w/768 mb
2gb Corsair (2 1gb sticks)
Creative Xfi Fatal1ty Pro Gamer sound card
400 gb HDD
750W Thrmaltake PS

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of Vista are you running? I've heard a number of complaints with Home Basic (I'm running Home Premium with no problems).
