Smile Solved: Solved: Desktop Recycle Bin Icon Disappeared!SOLVED :-)
All of a sudden, the desktop icon for the recycle bin disappeared. When I went to 'explore', it shows the recycle bin on the desktop, but darn if I can find it! :-(
I also right clicked on the shortcut icon, and it show that it is on the desktop. I ever rebooted.
I have made a shortcut icon for the desktop - just do not know what ghost got into the system and stole it!

An update - I right-clicked on the desktop, left-clicked on 'personalize', and on the left-hand side, there was a place to 'change desktop icons' - then it opened another window which showed various icons. The checkbox for the recycle bin somehow became unchecked. So, I checked it and it re-appeared on the desktop!
Gremlins at work!
