Cool No volume icon in task bar after downloading drivers!
If anyone could help I would be very grateful. I have installed Vista Home Premium 32 bit. There was no sound so I installed the driver from the Dell website and now the sound works, but there is no icon in the task bar to control it!

I have been on the task bar notification screen and it won't allow me to tick volume (greyed out) on the page

If anyone can help it would make me

Well devil_himself a couple of my friends had the same problem and both of them were running Windows Vista Home Premium bit. Both of them downloaded the XP tweak and on one's computer it worked while on the other it didn't. That's why I said "maybe"

PS Good idea to backup your registry for any fix you try even if you are sure that the fix will work.

That was just to clarify things!!!

Regards
Gerchan
