Drive Mapping in Vista
I have a Windows 2003 server, the folders on which I have to map on Windows Vista Home Basic/Ultimate machines. Though the option to "Reconnect at Logon" is selected, it does not preserve the mapping. Every time I have to remap the drive.

Since with XP, the mapping was always preserved, the users complain about this all the time. Is there a way to preserve the drive mappings?

Thanks in advance.

Per http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...1ba441033.mspx it should be working.

That said are the source machines up and running when the local machines get fired up?

Thanks for the link. Yes, the source machine is up.
I can't get connected after logout and login or after rebooting the machine.
