Post Windows Vista Disk Space
Hello,

Well basically after having about 2 days worth of trouble with booting my computer up and it actually working proberly.. I re-installed Vista Ultimate from scratch losing all my programs and files... Luckly I have backed up my files before I did this.. so that was ok... after Windows Vista being installed about 3 days after my computer wouldn't boot up again it just had a blank screen... so I used roll back.. and now it works ok..
My computer is much faster now which I am happy off however.. I have absolutely no disk space.. not even enough to save an add on..

Here are my specs

PRESARIO (C
32.5GB free of 69.0GB

PRESARIO_RP (D
639MB free of 5.41GB

I have 512mb worth of memory and I have a AMD Sempron Processor 3000+

What I am actually getting at is how do I clean up my hard drive so I have more space?

I am also looking to buy more memory for my computer I know what speed my RAM works at so thats fine.. however what else I was wondering was how much memory will my processor be able to handle? I want at least 1024mb of memory..

Also where can I buy cheap memory from I am in the UK so a UK site would be better..

Thank you in advance

Disk Space
When you re-install Vista, it saves your previous installation in a folder (I think) called "\windows.old" - this folder is likely to be many gigabytes and can be safely deleted - provided that you have a backup.

Another option is to try the disk cleanup option by typing "Disk Cleanup" in the Start search bar.
