Multiple OS on notebook with Vista...
I attempted to install windows 2003 on the 2nd partition of my harddrive while Vista was my default on primary partition. After install for 2003 was complete Vista was no longer a option in OS select. Then I used my Vista dvd and attempted to repair but it detected no errors... So I did a new install on the partition that I installed the 2003 on. It then gave me 3 choices on boot screen " Windows Vista, Windows Vista, Older version windows".... the older version was not bootable anylonger, but I could boot into both Vistas. I then deleted the partition, recreated and formatted the 2nd partitioned drive. So now I have the same three options but it says that the file is missing for the 2 I removed. How do I remove these options from the boot screen and have Vista back to default OS to boot.

Thanks Athan, I was able to get rid of the extra Vista boot option with the system utility instructions on that page. However, the "Earlier version of windows" option is still there and does not show up in the system utility like the others. Any information from anyone is appreciated.
