whats Microsoft SQL server MSDE?
While downloading an update for Sony Vegas (video editing software) I got a message that Microsoft SQL server MSDE is not compatable with Vista. I dont know what this even is. Do I need it. I went to Microsoft website and they reccomend a different version for Vista should I download it or can I do without it. Also If I do download it will I have to ersate the incompatable version that has been downoaded to my computer?

Heres what the message looked like:

Hi,

I can tell you thr problem from the picture lol

Ok so here it is.

Vista is new, Sony isnt upto date with vista yet. so you can try just clicking run program on the window and see if it works.

I dont know when sonys next updates are on there programs, I need the Acid Pro update for vista so iv had the pop up before.

You will probable need it with the program or you will have an error popping up lole blah blah failed to open or not found.

Jay.
