Question Where is Media Center?
I bought a new Toshiba laptop about a month ago with Vista. I was able to use Media center on it, and it was working fine.
Later on, the shortcut in the start menu was dead.
Now, I can't find it anywhere. I have searched for it, I used the "Run" console, and i have looked in various places. It doesn't seem to exist. When i use the keyboard shortcut to start it, nothing happens, except for a "ding"...
So, please give me some advice.
thanks

Thanks. Now I get an error...
I found the file and clicked on it. It won't open(i attached a picture), it seems to be blocked by some program. I'm using AVG free, I don't think thats the problem. Could it be something like windows defender?

Thanks again

Media Center
Something is definitely preventing the file from opening - either AVG or firewall. Try disabling AVG and then try clicking on the file again.
