No sound after Vista install
I recently installed vista on a machine I built myself, and no the sound won't work. It worked when I had XP so I know it's not the card. I have an ABIT AW9-Max with a Realtek HD PCI x1 sound card. I have the all of the latest drivers for vista and the latest mobo BIOS, and still nothing. So please help, please...

yes I have the latest drivers, and I've tried to install the ac97 drivers but vista won't let me it just hangs after a while and I'm constantly being asked if I want to install the drivers, but no progress is ever made.
