Socket.OCX error
Hello everyone,
Can somebody help me how I can solve the following problem:When windows Vista is starting up and on the moment that Vista is building up the desktop icons I get following error message window#Begin of error message#DNS Failed to load control 'SocketXCtl' from socketx.ocx. Your version of socket.ocx may be outdated.Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

Hi karlo0013,

The socket.ocx file seems to be used by an application triggered at the startup of your computer, more likely an application that tries to perform a network connection.
To find out the program to which the file is related, just do a search : the file is certainly stored in the program directory.

Hi there,
I was doing search but cant find that file. I think its some virus caus i went to a site (key genration) i guess this all happend after that. Can you help how i get rid of this.
