Help with Vista & Epson Printer
Have HP Pavilion a1750y, Vista home premium OS, 2.8GHz, 1022mb RAM, 32bit, and Epson Stylus PHOTO R220 printer.
When i got the computer in April, i had the printer for an older computer, and went to Epson web site and got a Vista driver for my printer. Everything worked well until i tried to download a new driver(so i could see print progress pop-up) I am now unable to remove either the two copies of the printers in control panel.
I have uninstalled drivers from Start, all programs, Epson Printers, Printer software.
When i try to remove the printers from the control panel i get: Interactive services pop-up, with an error details- C:\windows\system32\spoolsv.exe
I've stopped the spooler in Services, and there are no print jobs in Ques of printers.

I would appreciate the help

Follow the instructions in this article (which should apply equally well in Vista) -- which will manually remove any remaining registry entries for your printer driver -- then reboot and try reinstalling them:

When i did "uninstall" Epson at Control Panel Programs and features, pop-up said the program may already be uninstalled
